Capturing the attention of football-curious audiences
To encourage Sky Sports’ key growth audience of women and U35s to follow the stars of the Women’s Super League and build the players’ profiles outside of traditional sporting contexts, we launched a Sky Sport takeover of Four Nine’s 49 Questions.
Across three episodes of 49 Questions, we invited our target audience to connect with players like Alessia Russo on a deeper level and created a bespoke Instant Experience hub to house all content and drive traffic to Sky Sports’ platform dedicated to the WSL, The Dub.
Our campaign captured the attention of football-curious audiences with content that spotlighted conversations with WSL players, building excitement around the WSL and encouraging more women to get involved in the game.
